TEAMS PLEASE NOTE : All Grounds we are playing at this Pre-Season are all LICENSED GROUNDS - ABSOLUTELY NO ALCOHOL is to be brought into the grounds.

ALL Grounds will have FULL CANTEEN'S IN OPPERATION.

For example at Warilla this weekend the Warilla Wanderers Committee are cooking Bacon & Egg Rolls from the first game then going to the BBQ for Lunch including their famous Chorizos!

So PLEASE make sure all teams support the clubs that are hosting our games over the pre-season. The IAFA COMMITTEE are truly greatfull that we are being given these great venues to hold our Pre-Season.

ALL 1st Place getters and ALL Runner Ups are required to be at the CORRIMAL LEAGUES CLUB on Wednesday 4^th March for the FINALS DRAW.
Any team failing to make the meeting will not participate.
Out of the 5 runner ups 3 will be drawn out to play in the FINAL 8........

If team is drawn out that played in pool then team will be placed into ¼ final featuring a non pool team.

Illawarra Amateur Football Association Amateur Cup - Rules 2009

1. 5 groups consisting of 5 teams
2.Each team plays 2 games per day with a total of 4 qualifying games.
3.20mins halves with immediate turnaround at halftime.
4.Teams to be ready to play immediately when previous game completed.
5.Unlimited interchange of players in preliminary rounds.
6.16 interchange players only on finals day.
7.A player may only play for one team during knockout. Any player and club ignoring rule shall face the judiciary committee.
8.Teams to pay $20 at Nomination plus teams to pay $20 per game day ($10 per Game) for referees for rounds 1&2 and 3&4 payable to the referee before the match along with your team sheet – BOTH TEAMS. No referee fees are payable on finals day.
9.Winner of each group to advance to quarterfinals and also 3 runner up teams drawn from hat. If even on points goal difference to decide placings.
10.4 points for a win. 2 points a scoredraw 1 point a scoreless draw. 0 points a loss
11.Quarter Finals and Semifinals and Final to be decided by penalty shootout if game is drawn after normal time.
12. Teams must have completed teamsheet for the referee prior to the game commencing.
13.If shortage of match officials (referees and linesmen)
a. Referee- Team on draw mentioned first that played prior to provide referee
b. linesmen- each team to provide 1 linesmen per game and officiate on opposing teams offence.
14.Draw for quarter final rounds will be made at Corrimal Leagues Club at 7pm on March 4th. Teams must have representatives at the draw. This is also a Delegates Meeting.
15.Winner Presentations on March 7th at the venue TO BE ANNOUNCED 5.00pm
16.PLAYERS WHO WERE NOT REGISTERED WITH THE ASSOCIATION LAST SEASON MUST BE FULLY REGISTERED and PAID IN FULL BEFORE YOU CAN PLAY! Players from last seasons registration will be eligible ONLY in the GROUP STAGE. Beyond the group stage ALL PLAYERS MUST BE FULLY PAID & REGISTERED by the IAFA. This means if you are playing in the Finals Day on March 7^th – ALL of your players MUST be Registered before Friday 6^th March 2009.

17. Both teams involved in game must provide 1 match ball each!

18. ABSOLUTELY NO ALCOHOL to be brought into the grounds where the pre-season cup games are being played as they are all Licensed grounds.
